Winnipeg Singers performing at the Canoe Club Retirement Home

The Winnipeg Singers were guests of the Canoe Club Retirement Home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

The choir performed music to Dylan Thomas’s “Christmas is for Children” narrated by Derek Morphy. Jon Washburn’s arrangements of Christmas favourites beautifully enhanced the story.

In addition, the Winnipeg Singers performed a separate group of seasonal music by various composers/arrangers including James McKelvy, Lee Scott, Ola Gjeilo and Bob Chilcott.

It was an enjoyable time singing for this warm audience in their lovely reception room.
